The past few days, I've picked up some things at Naturally Yours.
I was looking at a bottle of Swedish Bitters, an herbal elixir and detox agent. The formula is allegedly derived from a half century old, esoteric recipe of the alchemist Paracelsus. I postponed purchasing it until I do some research online. But it sure looks interesting. Some consider it a universal cure-all.
If anyone out there, reading this blog, has any experience with Swedish Bitters, please share by posting a comment on this post.
My stomach has been kind of sour every day around 10 AM. I also think I'm teetering on the edge of a flu. I've been drinking more herb tea and honey lately, and taking some yogurt or kefir for breakfast. It's probably the late night snacking that's messing me up digestively.
Intuitively sensing that I might need "bitters" to balance my system, I decided to buy a box of organic roasted dandelion herb tea.
I'm a heavy user of such herbal teas as peppermint, mullein, blueberry, red clover, licorice root, and golden seal, but have never tried dandelion. I'll report back later to let you know how it works. Jethro Kloss says you can use dandelion root as a substitute for coffee and it's a terrific blood purifier and digestive system aid.
I needed some shampoo, and was pleased to see all the Avalon Organic shampoos on sale. At first, I was going to get the peppermint, but changed my mind and went with the rosemary. I really like this shampoo, all you need is a few tiny drops, it's so concentrated.
