Avant Browser: fastest on earth

Avant Browser for avant garde web users. Feel the speed, watch the carnage.

They claim it's the fastest, most vicious browser on earth. I love it. It's fun to use. So swift, it'll make your head spin.

Don't get too close to that Death Ray, Jimmy. It zaps all unwanted pop-up monstrosities and Flash freak ad annoyances. Hear that? That's what a dying pop up sounds like. You'll grow to love that sweet sound.

The Translator Tool works pretty good on Portugeuse to English.

The Avant RSS Feed Reader kicks ass. I love the UI.

In the Avant tool bar there are some strange and wonderful powers.

Like Search Site (seach any site you're on, including your own), Highlight (search items on current page), and a Show Similar Websites icon of a pair of binoculars. It identifies the general area of knowledge you're in (Society and Culture for me as I type this post, Web Usability when I'm on my blog index page) and features a drop down menu of related sites that looks good.

I don't know what they call this, but it rocks. Hard.

I like Avant Browser more than any other browser out there right now.

Unfortunately not for the Mac...

Right, not for the Mac and as far as I can tell no tabbed browsing. I've gotten so used to tabs that I can't see myself using anything that doesn't support that. Tabs are sooooo efficient - windows (even if they're somehow within the main app window) just don't cut it.

You get tabs, multi-tabbing, cross-tabbing, cascading windows, lots of ways to juggle and operate.

What do you mean "no tabs"?

That pair of binoculars, "Show Similar Web Sites" is fantastic, and can help bloggers think of things to write posts about, or can give them links to substantiating material.

There are some very interesting powers in the minimized Avant tool bar. RoboForm is a good add on.

The Back Button, History file is unique, too, but I can't quite describe how.

Sorry about the noncompat with Mac. This too: are you sure there is no Mac version?
