Pee Bug eats witch pizza

Pee Bug eats witch pizza

With all the heavy topics that get treated here at Vaspers the Grate, I feel we need a little weird music to make us laugh and clap our hands.

But I did not expect it to get this weird. Once again, the commercial record industry product lags behind by 30 to 50 years. The net labels, that's where the good oddball music is happening, or lying around smoking funny cigarettes.

There's this music band called Pee-Bug. It consists of Bob Anthony and Matt Fuller. Two albums are available as free MP3 downloads at Comfort Stand net label.

The Pee-Bug albums are called "Witch Pizza Going Sally" and "The Reckoning". I really enjoy this material, very offbeat, reminds me of Black Noise, It's War Boys collective, Amos & Sarah, Just Measurers, Milk from Cheltenham, Vic Serf & the Villains, that type of thing.

This is about as strange as it gets, verging as closely to insane as time will allow, cold biscuits and gravy never had it so good in wood.

How to describe the high pitched helium-fueled voices ringing out ruminatingly behind a backdrop of banjo or guitar?

What words could not fail to falsely denote each stochastic stanza bonanza?

Just if you like to laugh and snap your toes and clap your hands, this music is for you.

Go to Comfort Stand and download the albums now. I'm sure you'll grow to regret it, but after that, it will melt into a permanent marker with good smells and smiles.

I don't like the name of the band, shame on them for that, but then again, a weird band name almost always guarantees good experimental music. That is what this is, isn't it? I mean, if it's not experimental, what is it? Is it real? Or is it memorable mesmerization miasma?
