Shadow Blogging

Shadow Blogging is operating an obscure blog.

A blog that is known, but not comfortable to visit.

A blog that holds up a mirror to our wounds and defects.

A blog that echoes emptily the hollowness inside.

A blog that is feared, not enjoyed, avoided.

Where lurkers slink around like dismal ghosts,

evaluating and esteeming what they will.

Where links are rotting and comments are decaying.

Where something bizarre and earth-shattering

may arise at any moment.

Shadow Blogging.

A blogomorphic dissonance that disturbing re-directs its wrecks into ruined rialtos and succeeds in its pith path.

The whisper-transmission of esoteric sub-blogging.

Essentialistic powers of Non-visible Triumphalist Tour-de-force vectors.

Y'know: shadow blogging.

Dear and precious MaryBeth:

If I express all my ideas in super simple language, readers would be imprisoned in a single interpretation, and would be inhibited from pursuing their own application of my revelations.

I have to express some things in a clandestine, evocative, esoteric manner, because when you go to the furthest extremes of anything--you tread into the realms of the immaterial, the mystical, the inexpressible. Like the future. Or innovation.

Most of my posts are crystal clear, almost painfully obvious and direct.

But some must needs be cloaked in secret code, hidden language, estoteric terminology.

Those who know me, and are slightly familiar with such writers as Jacques Derrida, Jacques Lacan, or Emmanuel Levinas, or Buddhist Mahayana or Theraveda texts, or even the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, will easily decipher the text I splatter on the screen.

Sometimes, if I disclosed my true and total meaning, people would be even more confused and mystified.

Besides, Carrie said she liked my writing when it's "elusive and cryptic"...and there's no way I'm going to displease or disappoint Carrie.
